The "Otaru Ushio Festival Experience Tour" is a one-day tour for foreign visitors to fully enjoy Otaru by joining the biggest local traditional festival in Otaru.
We will participate in the Festival, interact with local people, and show you the "Real" Otaru.

You can participate in Otaru Ushio Festival, one of the most popular local festival in Otaru, with an exclusive quota for the tour.

Ferry Tour

Lunch will be served on the docked ferry. (It is a private charter!). The sea of Otaru seen from the ship is pleasantly breezy, and if you have time, we will give you a tour on the ship.

Dinner Location

NIHONBASHI

Nihonbashi located on Otaru Sushiya-dori, one of the best sushi restaurants in Otaru. The chef at Nihonbashi grew up on the beaches of Otaru and Yoichi. Because he has been farmilliar with fish since birth, he is a connoisseur of local fish and has a passion for fish!
We would be very happy if you could experience the joy and excitement of not only the delicious sushi, but also the lively atmosphere of the restaurant and the personality of the proprietress.

After registration, a registration completion email will be sent to your registered email address from “otaru2_nhhkd@nta.co.jp”.

*Please note that a confirmation email will be sent upon completion of new registration, but it does not mean that the reservation is completed.

Make Tour Reservation
Please confirm the reservation details (day trip or overnight stay) and apply from the tour reservation page within the following period.
After the application is completed, a confirmation email will be automatically sent to you.
If there are any changes to the tour application details, or if you wish to cancel, please click here.
Please be sure to read the full text of the tour conditions before applying for the tour.
If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please confirm that your registration has not been completely completed or that your e-mail address is incorrect.

    The prices are calculated based on the fares and regulations in effect as of Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
  • 【Changes and Cancellations】
    For changes and cancellations up to June 30, 2025 (Monday), please visit the “Confirm/Change Reservations” page on the application page.
    You can check, change, or cancel reservations made before June 30, 2025 (Monday) on the “Confirm/Change Reservation” page of the application form.

  • 【Cancellation Charges】
    The following cancellation fees will be charged in the event of cancellation of a tour for the customer's own reason after the tour contract has been concluded.

    The “date of cancellation” is based on the time when the customer notifies the Otaru Branch of Nippon Travel Agency of his/her intention to cancel during the business days and hours of the Otaru Branch.
    Business hours are from 10:00 to 16:30 on weekdays.
    (Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays)
    Cancellation fee will be charged by our company.
  • 【Refund Policy】
    For cancellations prior to the start of the tour, refunds will be made within 15 days from the day following the date of cancellation.
    For cancellations made after the start of the tour, refunds will be made within 30 days from the day following the end of the tour as specified in the contract document.
    In the case of online credit card payment
    Refunds will be made to the credit card used for payment.
    Please note that the refund date may differ depending on the credit card company.

Precautions
before applying
Please confirm the following items before applying.

  • The itinerary may be changed in case of inclement weather on the day of the tour.
  • The tour includes walking while dancing. Please wear comfortable shoes such as sneakers. Also, please bring a T-shirt to wear inside your yukata.
  • We may use the photos and videos taken on this tour for publicity purposes on our website from the following year onward. We ask for your understanding before participating in this tour.
  • This tour is specially designed for foreigners. In principle, Japanese nationals are not allowed to participate.
  • We will provide a venue for you to change into yukata on the day of the event. Please do not worry.
